PT16 Compact Stainless Steel Thermodynamic Steam Trap

The PT16 Compact Stainless Steel Thermodynamic Steam Trap is designed for rapid condensate discharge in steam systems that experience changing loads and pressures. Its lightweight, compact configuration makes it suitable for installations where space is limited, while its total stainless steel construction provides dependable resistance to corrosion and mechanical wear. The supplied product specification identifies stainless steel construction with A743 Grade CA40, supporting its use across a variety of industrial steam applications.

Unlike models equipped with an integral strainer, the PT16 is supplied without a built-in strainer. Its thermodynamic operating mechanism is configured for quick-response applications, allowing it to react efficiently to changing steam-system conditions. Condensate enters beneath the disc and is concentric with the disc and seat. This arrangement promotes a clean, parallel lifting action and helps reduce localised wear and tear during operation.
