PPV Pennant Piston Valve for Steam and Process Isolation

The PPV Pennant Piston Valve is a durable linear-motion isolation valve designed for dependable control of steam, thermal fluid, condensate, liquids and gases. Its stainless steel piston moves between upper and lower sealing rings separated by a lantern bushing. This internal arrangement supports the piston while creating a bubble-tight seal. In the open position, the upper sealing ring works with the piston to prevent leakage through the stem. When closed, the lower ring seals the valve passage and provides reliable shut-off.

Known for its robust construction and long operating life, the PPV can be used for both on/off isolation and throttling duties. Reinforced Grafoil sealing rings and Belleville washers help compensate for thermal expansion, making the valve suitable for systems exposed to changing operating temperatures. Its sealing rings are accessible and replaceable, allowing the valve to be serviced inline without removing the entire body from the pipeline.
